Vehicle Title Fee Increase Effective January 1, 2026
Effective January 1, 2026, the vehicle title fee will increase from $15.00 to $18.00.
This $3.00 increase is the result of House Bill 96 and is allocated specifically to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Fund.
* All titles processed on January 1, 2026, or thereafter will be subject to this increase regardless of the date of sale or notary date.
